Estately Staff Picks: Pools To Swim To Infinity And Beyond
It’s been a hot week here at Estately, and not just because we’re working on some really fun and exciting new things. (Which of course, is entirely another blog post itself – stay tuned for more about that!) Temps here in Seattle have been hovering in the mid-to-high 70′s all week, which for the rest of the country is “comfortable” – but is enough to make us think we’re melting.
Since Seattle doesn’t hit high temperatures very often, amenities like pools are a rare find in real estate around here – so we get a little jealous of the amazing pools we see in our listings. Here’s some of our favorite pools hand-picked by us here at Estately:
Jesse’s Pool Pick: 1705 Angelo Drive Beverly Hills, CA
“It’s not the most extravagant pool, but it feels like it came from the mind of an Apple product designer. I find the organic feel of the wood decking with rounded corners contrasts in a interesting way with the overall geometric shape, giving it an orderly yet natural feel. Seems like it would be a really soothing place to hang out.”
Doug’s Pool Pick: 8644 Lake Drive Snellville, GA
“This one doesn’t have a pool, but it’s right on a beautiful lake: Plenty of swimming and no maintenance!”
Nate’s Pool Pick: 15270 OAK RIDGE WY Los Gatos, CA
“Most house pools are great for hosting a pool party or cooling off, they are just unsatisfying for the really serious swimmer. This pool says, ‘Kids, go play on the xbox – it’s time for Daddy to do some laps!’”
Alli’s Pool Pick: 16 Sail Vis Newport Coast, CA
“I love this pool because I mean what’s not to love! Infinity pools are amazing, but this pool goes above and beyond, look at that beautiful view! The seating area around the pool is great and it definitely looks like a place I could lay and get an awesome tan! Plus ya gotta love the dolphin fountain.”
Julie’s Pool Pick: 7645 Pointview Circle Orlando, FL
“I love this house because not only do you get a nice stone pool with a grilling area and a hot tub, it’s right on Big Sand Lake for maximum swimming opportunity.”
Josh’s Pool Pick: 31592 Vinedo Road Coto De Caza, CA
Josh actually couldn’t pick just one pool – apparently, the idea of going for a swim sounded like so much fun he also found pools with basketball nets, pools near The White House, and pools near Wrigley Field. But really – who could resist not just a pool, but a waterfall, too?
Of course, we all can’t afford our own waterfall – but is a pool a must-have for your next home? Share your thoughts in the comments!
