Here’s What Each State Googled More Than Any Other State In 2014

In 2014, not everyone in America searched online for a home for sale. Even though using Estately is a simple, efficient way to find a home many Americans chose to spend their time online doing other things. Using Google Trends we entered search terms for the year’s biggest stories and controversies, people and companies who made news, popular TV shows and movies, and more. We learned Texas and Oklahoma spent 2014 fretting about Ebola, Californians and Nevadans were very curious Bitcoin, and Michigan and Utah will receive coal in their stockings for all those attempts to find leaked photos of naked celebrities.

A compiled list of all search terms is listed below, and remember that these are NOT the top searches for each state, they are the searches each state made more of than any other state.
