Random Map Friday
It’s a moving map. Watch air traffic in America come alive like an ant hill just before sunrise – it’s astounding.
Ever seen an ant hill swarming? This is as close as I could find to the ones you find in the Cascade Mountains.

Live next door to Google founder Larry Page?

The always respectable ValleyWag proudly disclosed Google founder Larry Page’s address, so what are we to do, but to see which of his Palo Alto neighbors are selling their homes? You can’t buy next door (at least right now), but you can buy less than a block away at 2050 Waverly Street. $6.4 million might seem expensive for a home to most people, but just think of it this way: if just one one-thousandth of his $16.6 billion fortune rubs of on you, you’d still be up ten million dollars.

Who said MLSes are square?
This is sort of old news, but we just discovered Mr. Is, the Maryland-DC area MLS comic book superhero who helps people who “start the process themselves using these popular websites that deliver bad information to good people.”
The problem: stale listings. “Most of those listings are already sold, expired or withdrawn, as in off the market,” Willson says. “That’s the problem with using Web sites not tied to the MLS. They look nice, but often contain just a fraction of the inventory and can be out of date.”
Sound familiar? We’re fighting the good fight right alongside ya, Mr. Is!

Friday off topic post: Google lets you skip the flash intro
Finally you don’t have to click the “skip intro” button – you can go straight to that page on Google. Why anyone has a flash intro is beyond me, but apparently there is an entire cadre of websites offering free flash intro templates.
